Dear Parent,

Our Point Grey School PAC places gift card orders with large, well-known retailers. The cards give the same value as cash and have no expiry date. The retailers pay the PAC a percentage of the sales. These percentages are shown on the attached order form.

The average family spends $6,000 - $7,000 on groceries each year. If 100 families can purchase $100 per week on all household purchases from participating retailers, the school can earn $20,000 this school year.

This fundraiser is very important because it enriches the programs of our school for the benefit of all students. The money raised helps pay for many needs for which there simply is no budget.

How the program works:

1) Every month you will receive a synrevoice phone and email message as well as a Pointline email with an order form attached prior to the gift card order date. Order forms can also be picked up at the school office or you may download the form on the Point Grey School Website at http://pointgreysecondary.ca/.

2) Determine which gift cards you would like to purchase and in what denominations. You may choose to have a standing order and we will automatically fill the same order for each ordering cycle and charge your credit card or process your postdated cheque.

3) Submit your order by the deadline dates at the bottom of the order form. You may pay for your order by cheque made payable to Point Grey Secondary School PAC, or by credit card (Visa or MasterCard only).

Hard-Copy Orders: Place your order in an envelope along with your payment and deposit it in the designated PAC Gift Card Program box located in the School Office.

Electronic Orders: Alternatively, credit card orders may be placed electronically by attaching your completed order form and credit card information and sending to the PAC Treasurer at pgpac@hotmail.com

4) Pick up your order at the School Office on or after the specified date indicated on the order form. You will be asked to check and sign for your order upon pick up. Orders that are dropped off or picked up by students are the responsibility of parents. Neither the school, nor the PAC, assumes any responsibility for lost or missing gift cards.
